Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant is not only a symbol of beauty but also an embodiment of love. The eight contestants made their official debut last week, and immediately embarked on a journey of love, visiting the Austin Harris Residence and Jackson Lam Adult Day Program Harmony House of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. After the pandemic, the beauty queens once again interacted closely with the elderly, expressing their care and love. They brought wonderful performances to the seniors, spreading warmth in the early winter.
The visit was hosted by No.7 Kelly Ng and No.8 Erin Wong. They started by greeting the elderly and introducing themselves one by one. No.6 Annie Zhang kicked off the event with an elegant ballet dance. No.2 Vivian Szeto, No.4 Janice Chan and No.5 Isabella Zhai, led the seniors in simple exercises to stretch their muscles after lunch. No.1 Tracy Chung performed traditional Chinese dance with grace and agility, while No.3 Carolina brought high-energy Hip Hop, lifting the spirits of the seniors. The 8 beauties also sang "The Moon Represents My Heart," with the elderly clapping along, creating a delightful and heartwarming atmosphere. Finally, the loving ladies presented a handmade greeting card filled with blessings and wished the seniors joy and healthy lives.
