In 2010, James Ng, nicknamed "Kwan Gor," made his debut in the entertainment industry through the popular talent show "The Voice 2." With boyish charm and powerful vocal skills, he quickly won the hearts of the audience. His artistic versatility showed early in his career when Kwan Gor was hosting music programs, variety shows, and even venturing into acting, starring in movies such as “Long Time No See Japan", "Music Café", "Jade Solid Gold", "When in Taiwan", "Cold War" and "Buddy Cops” and many more, all within a short period of time. He also manifested his acting prowess in TV dramas like "The Dripping Sauce", "Plan B" " Forever Young At Heart” and the recent project "From Hong Kong to Beijing", earning numerous nominations at the TVB Anniversary Awards, including "Most Popular TV Male Character," "Best Supporting Actor," "Award for Male Artists Leap Progress "and "Best Actor."

Despite his acting success, Kwan Gor never gave up on his singing dreams. He started his own YouTube channel called "Kwan Gor," where he shared his original compositions and cover versions. In 2015, he officially debuted as a singer and released his first Cantopop hit “So She Loves Me Not Enough" followed by “Song of the Sunshine Point". These songs dominated the charts on various Hong Kong radio and TV stations, becoming the favorites for the 80s and 90s generation and solidifying Kwan Gor's status as a respected artist. In the same year, he swept several newcomer awards at major music award ceremonies, including the TVB JSG Awards' "Most Popular New Male Artist Gold Award”, " New Artist Gold Award," and "My Favorite Male Singer" at the “Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation”. He also won the "Most Popular Newcomer Bonus" and the "Golden Melody Award" with his first single "So She Loves Me Not Enough".

In 2016 and 2019, Kwan Gor successfully held concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum with four solo albums released over the years. In 2022, he signed with TVB Music Group Limited and in the following year launched his first single under the new label, "Hundred and Two Years," which quickly became a triple champion song. His second single, "Still Love," continues to embrace a romantic genre with immense love from music fans.
